A CRESCENTE DEMANDA POR TRANSMISSÕES EM DIRETO EM CONTÍNUO DE ALTA QUALIDADE ESTÁ A IMPULSIONAR A NECESSIDADE DE MELHORES INFRAESTRUTURAS DE REDE, ESPECIALMENTE AO DISSEMINAR CONTEÚDOS EM ÁREAS ALTAMENTE CONGESTIONADAS, COMO ESTÁDIOS, CONCERTOS E MUSEUS. AS ABORDAGENS TRADICIONAIS PARA LIDAR COM ESSE TIPO DE CENÁRIO BASEIAM-SE NUMA COMBINAÇÃO DE DADOS CELULARES, ATRAVÉS DE ARRANJOS DE ANTENAS DISTRIBUÍDOS POR 4G (DAS), COM UMA ALTA CONTAGEM DE PONTOS DE ACESSO WIFI (802.11). ISSO OBVIAMENTE REQUER UM CUSTO INICIAL SUBSTANCIAL PARA EQUIPAMENTOS, PLANEAMENTO E IMPLANTAÇÃO. RECENTEMENTE, NOVOS ESFORÇOS FORAM INTRODUZIDOS PARA ALAVANCAR COM SEGURANÇA AS CAPACIDADES DE TRAJETOS MÚLTIPLOS SEM FIOS, INCLUINDO MULTIDIFUSÃO WIFI E 4G E COMUNICAÇÕES DISPOSITIVO-PARA-DISPOSITIVO. PARA RESOLVER ESSES PROBLEMAS, PROPOMOS UMA ABORDAGEM QUE DIMINUI OS REQUISITOS IMPOSTOS ÀS INFRAESTRUTURAS SEM FIOS E, AO MESMO TEMPO, POTENCIALMENTE EXPANDE A COBERTURA SEM FIOS POR MEIO DE COLABORAÇÃO COLETIVA DE DISPOSITIVOS MÓVEIS. PARA O CONSEGUIR, PROPOMOS UMA NOVA ABORDAGEM ABRANGENTE QUE COMBINA SISTEMAS DISTRIBUÍDOS SEGUROS, MULTIDIFUSÃO WIFI, CODIFICAÇÃO DE ELIMINAÇÃO, CODIFICAÇÃO DE ORIGEM E PARTILHA DE CARGA OPORTUNISTA QUE UTILIZA EDGE CLOUDS MÓVEIS HIPERLOCAIS. MOSTRAMOS EMPIRICAMENTE QUE A NOSSA SOLUÇÃO É CAPAZ DE OFERECER UMA REDUÇÃO DE 11 VEZES NO USO DA LARGURA DE BANDA WIFI INFRAESTRUTURA I SEM PRECISAR DE MODIFICAR QUAISQUER PILHAS DE SOFTWARE OU FIRMWARE EXISTENTES, GARANTINDO AO MESMO TEMPO A INTEGRIDADE, A AUTORIZAÇÃO E A AUTENTICAÇÃO DO FLUXO.
