Abstract

A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO REFERE-SE A UM BIOCOMPÓSITO QUE COMPREENDE FIBRAS MICRONIZADAS DE PASTA KRAFT DE EUCALIPTO, UM BIOPLÁSTICO E UM ADITIVO. O BIOCOMPÓSITO INCLUI UM BIOPLÁSTICO E DE 10 A 50 % EM MASSA DE FIBRAS MICRONIZADAS DE PASTA KRAFT DE EUCALIPTO (RELATIVAMENTE À MASSA DE BIOPLÁSTICO) E UM ADITIVO DE 1% A 30 % EM MASSA RELATIVAMENTE À MASSA TOTAL DO BIOCOMPÓSITO, E EM QUE O BIOPLÁSTICO É SELECIONADO DE ENTRE POLI(ÁCIDO LÁCTICO), POLI(HIDROXIBUTIRATO) OU ACETATO BUTIRATO DE CELULOSE. O ADITIVO É UM ÓLEO VEGETAL EPOXIDADO OU UM TENSIOATIVO À BASE DE AÇÚCAR. UM OUTRO ASPETO DA PRESENTE INVENÇÃO DIZ RESPEITO A UM PROCESSO DE PRODUÇÃO DO BIOCOMPÓSITO. O BIOCOMPÓSITO É DE BASE TOTALMENTE BIOLÓGICA, DEMONSTRANDO CONDIÇÕES DE BIODEGRADABILIDADE AO MESMO TEMPO QUE PROPRIEDADES MECÂNICAS NECESSÁRIAS ÀS SUAS POSSÍVEIS E DIFERENTES APLICAÇÕES.
