Abstract

The assembly has an upper platform (2) placed on a pallet base (1) that comprises main central panel extended through lateral panels. End panels are perpendicularly extended, in a large dimension direction from the central panel, through complementary junction panels that are connected to the end panels by articulation plies. Junction panels are folded at 90 degrees and superimposed with a surface of assembling panels after assembling. The assembling panels comprise ends superimposed with an internal surface of the lateral panels after assembling.

The invention relates to a modular assembly for transporting and displaying products, for handling, storing, transporting and displaying at the place of sale, a set comprising, on the one hand, a partially or fully assembled pallet and mechanically assembled and, on the other hand, by an overlapping of supports, packages or other containers which constitute overlapping shelves spaced apart and connected by means of sleepers which contribute in the assembly to the stacking resistance and the coherence of the assembly.

This assembly is made from components made from sheets of a semi-rigid material, such as corrugated cardboard or corrugated cardboard, by way of non-limiting example, one or more components possibly being made in one or more other materials . The invention may be applied to the conveyance and sale of food-related consumer products such as food or household cartons or bags, such as cleaning fluids or sponges, or small appliances or small appliances. The invention will be described by considering, as an example, the representation of an assembly for the transportation and sale of confectionery sacks. The bags themselves have no interest in understanding and will therefore not be represented. Figure 1 shows an overall view of a assembled, ready-to-fill assembly comprising a mechanized pallet, an additional pallet support upper base, an optional base for lifting, communicating and reserving potential products, shelves containing the products to sell and a set of sleepers. Figure 2 shows the lower members of the assembly of the view 1, separated from each other. Figure 3 is a sectional view of the pallet and the additional upper base. Figure 4 is a plan view of the base of the same pallet prior to framing and assembly. Figure 5 is a plan view of a reinforced variant of that pallet base. Figure 6 is a plan view of the additional and complementary upper base of the pallet prior to folding and placement at the base of the pallet. Figure 7 is a plan view of that same upper base in its version corresponding to the reinforced variant of the pallet shown in Figure 5. Figure 8 is a plan view of the optional lifting base before the frame. Figure 9 is a plan view of a cross-member shape prior to the frame. Figure 10 is a plan view of an exemplary embodiment of the package-container type shelf containing the products to be carried and displayed.

Figures 11-1 and 11-2 depict the horizontal sections of the type of two variants of backing reinforcements of the pallet base.

There are a number of on-the-spot display packaging for food distribution or home equipment distribution outlets, such as large multi-purpose areas or food and DIY areas. 2/11

There are several packages that ensure the transport of the products and ensure the exposure at the point of sale. For this, these packages are usually placed on a pallet that allows maintenance.

This pallet is very often in wood, sometimes in plastic but rarely in cardboard.

When this pallet is in carton, it is not usually assembled and mechanically assembled.

When this pallet is carton and mechanically assembled, it is produced in specific, slow and costly assembly lines. The invention enables the carton or other sheet material to be assembled from commercially available machines of the present construction and usually for the assembly of packaging supports such as fruit and vegetable supports.

This concerns the lower part of the set. In the case of palletising modules, called V2 pallet or V4 pallet (because the surface of its upper base is substantially equal to 800 x 600 mm or 600 x 400 mm, while the size of the pallet, most often used in Europe for high consumption products, has a base of 1200 x 800 mm) it is not possible to have ground connections at the larger ends, otherwise you will not be able to pass even a narrow pallet under the load. It is therefore necessary to divert one of the ground links inwards so that the forks of the forklift trucks or pallet trucks can be passed on both sides of that ground connection. By creating an additional upper base in the preceding base structure but whose length is greater than that of that base structure, the invention in turn allows solving that problem by creating an excessive portion of one side, beyond one of the connections to the ground, and reinforce the structure at the top so as to better withstand the load on top and it better withstand the pressure of the 3/11 forklifts and pallet trucks below. The overlapping of the thicknesses also allows limiting the flexing of the base.

There are also several on-site display sets for consumer products placed on a pallet.

There are many less that allow the visibility and accessibility to its content through at least three sides, and none can claim, in this configuration, a cohesion of all the components between them and the pallet, without additional attachment means and in modular form , so that the shelves can be added or suppressed without compromising the consistency of the whole. By its successive, complementary and coherent protrusion and cavity system from the base to the last shelf, the invention provides a solution to the simultaneous constraints described above. The assembly shown in Figure 1, after framing and assembly, but without the contents and its lower part shown in Figure 2, comprises: - a pallet base (1) assembled and assembled from the packaging, at the manufacturer or at one of its centers - an optional pallet base (2), - an optional base (3) for raising, communicating and reserving potential products, its internal reinforcement, also optional, is not shown, - shelves (4) which contain the products to sell, - sleepers (5) to separate these shelves and attach them.

According to Figures 2, 3 and 4, the pallet base (1) is composed of a central upper part (6) extended on both sides of its length by panels (7), to which it is connected by folds of (8) and extended on both sides of its width by panels 4/11 (9), to which it is connected by double hinges (10). All of these panels are substantially rectangular. The central part of this pallet base (6) realizes the upper base in which the palletised load which can be an exhibitor, a succession of shelves or another stacking or regrouping device is placed, directly or indirectly, or only the products to transport themselves.

The side panels 7 constitute the outer walls of the floor supports which are vertical after framing and assembly.

The panels 9 are duplicating panels of the upper base intended to enhance the strength. They are placed in the horizontal position and substantially in planes parallel to that upper base (6), with which they overlap after frame and assembly.

The side panels 7 are themselves extended to the ends of their free edge, each by two partial panels 11 with which they are connected by the hinging folds 12. These partial panels 11 are in the horizontal position after being assembled and assembled and constitute the contact surfaces of the pallet with the ground at the base of the supports. The side panels 7 are extended in the direction perpendicular to those previously extended 11 by the panels 13 to which they are connected by the hinge folds 14 and which can be divided into several portions 13 ', 13'. ..) successively connected by the pivotal folds (14 ', 14 ") to adopt various configurations which are variants, as represented by figures 11. After framing and assembly, these extension panels (13) constitute the reinforcements of supports whose vertical (7) and horizontal (11) walls must be hardened. In order to assemble together all such panels previously described, it is necessary to selectively extend them through portions of panels constituting splice tongues. This is the case with the tongues 15 and 15 which extend the central panel 5/11 6 on both sides of their width and tongues 16 extending the partial panels 11 of the base of the supports , being connected to these partial panels (11) by the hinge folds (17).

The tongues 15 and 15 'are attached to the central panel 6 by one of the hinge folds 10 or by a substantially parallel fold, if necessary.

The tongues 15 and 15 'have different cuts to better accommodate the resistance requirements (tongues 15) or the reduced passage of forklift forks (tongues 15'). The jointing tongues are glued and, after framing the main component (1) of the pallet and folding, substantially at 90ø, overlap partially in the vertical reinforcement panels (13) where they are attached. The ends 13 of the mounting panels 13 are glued, and after assembly of the main component 1 of the pallet, they will be secured in partial overlap on the inner surface of the side panels 7, thereby immobilizing the the four corners of the pallet base.

According to Figures 2, 3, 4 and 6, 7, the projection 18, which may or may not be centered on the hinge fold 8, which it shares on one side of the central panel 6, is positioned in a cavity (18 'and 18 ") of the second component (2) which is the additional top panel, thereby contributing to position precisely with respect to the pallet base serving as a bearing stop in the longitudinal direction and centering device in the transverse direction. According to Figures 2, 3, 4 and 8, the cavities 19 of the pallet base 1, located on the other pivotal fold 8 of the main panel 6 with the panel 7 that the (19 ') of the third component which is the optional base (3), which allows to attach the pallet base (1) and the optional base (3), in combination with the panel (41) , at the edge of the panel (2) on the opposite side. 6/11

According to Figure 5, which represents a reinforced variant of the pallet base shown in Figures 3 and 4, the vertical panels (7) of the ground supports are extended by panels substantially equivalent (20) and optionally extended themselves by substantially equivalent panels 22 successively connected to each other by double hinging folds 21 and then 23. After the frame and prior to assembly of the pallet base 1, the panel 22 is folded into the panel 20 with which it will then overlap the assembly of the two panels 20 and 22 thereby folded in turn, is folded in the panel (7) in which it will overlap. The panels (7, 20, 22) forming the main vertical part of the ground support of the pallet base are located in the planes substantially parallel and juxtaposed with one another.

According to Figure 5 and Figure 11, there is shown a variant of bearing ribs 13 and their successive extensions 13 'and 13'. With this variant, the horizontal section of the backing reinforcement is no longer in the form of the 'delta' shown in Figure 11-1 and in the previous Figures 3 and 4, but in the form " L " shown in Figure 11-2. In fact, the middle portion 13 'of the backfolding extension 13 is folded in accordance with a double hinge fold 14' in the main part of the same backfill extension 13 before the assembly so constituted is not connected to the main vertical floor support panel 7 through the last portion 13 of the extension 13 when rotating about a double hinge fold 14. The projection (24) attached to the middle portion (13 ') of the supporting support extension (13) will be positioned in the course of the assembly in the cavity (25) adjacent the hinge fold (14), located between the main central panel (6) and the support reinforcement (13). The purpose of placing this protrusion 24 in the cavity 25 is to ensure that the juxtaposition of the middle and main portions 13 'of the bearing reinforcement 13 in the substantially parallel planes during the frame stage of the pallet base assembly (1). 7/11

According to Figures 2, 3 and 6, the second component (2) of the assembly is the additional reinforcing upper support. This upper support is composed of two panels 26 and 27 substantially symmetrical and connected together by double hinges 28 which themselves are optionally interrupted by cuts 29 designed to reduce the resistance to folding. The frame and the assembly of that upper reinforcing support member consists in folding one of the two panels (27) on the other (26) to arrange them in contact with one another and overlap them in the substantially parallel planes, so as to constitute a after placing said reinforcing support in the upper support (6) of the pallet base (1), in contact and in the plane substantially parallel with said central panel (6) of the pallet base, partially overlapping it and leaving it to exceed the surplus surface of a single side, as shown in figure 3. The complementary centering and support devices 18 ', 18' and 18 ', described above and aligned with each other, favor location and positioning the two components (1) and (2) together. Figure 7 shows a variant of the component 2, adapted to the reinforced version of the pallet base 1 of Figure 5. The cavity 30 disposed in the panel 26 of the upper reinforcing support 2 then receives another protrusion (18) extending one of the main vertical support panels (7) of the pallet base (1), near the fold (8) separating the central main panel (6) and one of the main vertical support panels (7).

According to Figures 2 and 8, the optional base member 3 is composed of an alternating succession of longitudinal panels 31 and 32 and transverse panels 33 and 34 connected by successive hinged folds 35, 36, 37 and terminated by a joint tongue 38 attached to the preceding panel 34 by a hinge fold 39. The longitudinal panels 31 and 32 are approximately in the form of a " F " which corresponds generally to the parts 31 'and 32' of the large sides of the lift and to the portions 31 'and 32' which extend the previous ones, overlapping the reinforcements of the vertical supports of the pallet base 13 ' ) and joint tongues (15, 15 'and 16) fixed to these bearing ribs (13).

After arming and assembly as shown in Figure 2, such alternating succession of transverse and longitudinal panels joined by the glued or stapled junction flap 38 attached to the panel 34 by the hinge fold 39, forms a horizontally substantially horizontal strip rectangular One of the transverse panels 34 is extended by a panel 40 which runs perpendicularly to said transverse panel 34 to secure it to the pallet base 1. This extender panel 40 has previously described securing lugs 19 'which will be secured in the cavities 19 of the pallet base 1 to attach to that pallet base in a first direction. In another direction, in the upright position, the other transverse panel 33 is also extended by a panel 41, the large free edge 42 of which abuts a common edge between one of the main vertical support panels 7 of the base pallet 1 and the lower panel of the additional upper base 2 thereby terminating by attaching the optional raised base 3 with the pallet base 1 on the opposite side of the front attachment 19-19 '. The side panel (33) is attached to its extension (41) by a double hinged fold (43). The side panel 34 is attached to its extension 40 by a single or double hinge fold 44. On the opposite side of the panels 40 and 41, alternating succession of longitudinal panels 31 and 32 and transverse panels 33 and 34 is extended by a succession of flap panels 45 connected to the front by a broken line of hinged folds (46). In frame and base assembly, these flap panels 45 will be folded and bent horizontally, perpendicular to the succession of longitudinal and transverse panels 31, 32, 33, 34. In order to receive the upper components (4 and 5) of the assembly and to enable their assembly and their attachment, they are secured directly to the raised and indirectly pallet base (1), and their upper reinforcing support (2), holes (47, 48, 49) are arranged in the flap panels (45). These holes are intended to receive the lower protrusions (50) of the cross members (5). 9/11

According to Figures 2 and 9, there is shown a non-limiting and non-restrictive cross-member shape (5) for the invention. This crosspiece 5 is composed of a substantially rectangular central panel 51 prolonged by substantially rectangular panels 52 and 53, themselves extended by respective substantially rectangular panels 54 and 55. The variant shown in figures 2 and 9 in a U-shaped horizontal section, the two panels constituting the end walls (52 and 53) are respectively redoubled by panels (54 and 55) after framing. The central panel 51 is attached to the directly extending panels 52 and 53 by hinging folds 56 and 57. The extension panels 52 and 53 are themselves connected to the panels which in turn extend them 54 and 55 by double pivotal folds 58 and 59.

On one side of that succession of panels (54, 52, 51, 53, 55) protrusions (50) extend these panels during assembly into the lower part of the recesses (50 ') of the underside and into the recesses ( 61 and 61 ') of the base of the fourth shelf-like component (4) below. On another side of this succession of panels (54, 52, 51, 53, 55), protrusions (60) extend these panels to, during assembly, lodge in the upper part in the recesses (60 ') of the upper deck and in the (61 and 61 ') of the base of the fourth shelf-like component (4) from above. These devices ensure assembly of the half before the assembly. For the rear half, the crosspieces are provided with protrusions (62) which extend these dihedral crossbars between the central panel (51) and their immediate extension panels (52 and 53) upwardly, when the cross member is assembled. In the same situation, the cavities 62 'are arranged in the lower part of the beams, also at the dihedral level between the central panel 51 and its immediate extension panels 52 and 53. The upper protrusions 62 of a tray are housed in the corresponding recesses 62 'of the tray located immediately above and in the recesses (63, 63', 64 'and 64') of the shelf (4) located immediately above. The cross-members (5) which are shown in the form of a cut allow a U to be formed at the ends 10/11 redoubled in the horizontal section, it is not the only way to realize the distance, the coherence and the resistance to the stacking of different successive elements of the transport and exhibition set. In other applications, it is used parallelepipeds of rectangular section, or, in the form of crosses.

The shelf-like components (4), shown in Figures 2 and 10, in the form of containers in the front and side walls, which are redoubled and rearward reinforced, are only a non-limiting form of realization of the shelves whose structure, object of the invention and will not be described accordingly. Accessibility through at least three sides of the shelf essentially depends on the set of beams, and the functionality of the shelf is to support products without bending and possibly by preventing sliding through a collar, but there are several known ways of solution with these requirements.
