Abstract

The invention relates to a device for handling the drilling rod joints that are to be stacked in the floor man derrick or introduced in a drilling hole, for making up a set of drilling rods. The device, according to the invention, consists of a fixed platform, on which is placed, with the possibility of moving perpendicularly on the moving direction of a trolley, a mobile platform, operated by a pneumatic cylinder; the mobile platform extension and retraction is possible only when the trolley is located at the drilling hole axis, position at which a distributor with four tracks and two positions is activated by a cam, so that it allows the connection between a distributor with four tracks and two control positions and a room, separated in a sheath by a piston of the hydraulic cylinder; the pressurized fluid is introduced in this room through a deblockable valve and the trolley activation by the motor is blocked by interrupting the air supply of a distributor with five tracks and two positions, connected in derivation with the four-track two-position distributor and, in case of malfunctioning, it is connected with a distributor with three tracks and two positions, the pressurized air being evacuated from the room, detouring the deblockable valve.
