Abstract
The process comprises pyrosynthesis of a mixture consisting of cadmium salt 55-70, flowers of sulphur 15-25, selenium powder 8-15 and titanium dioxide 4-20 per cent. The two stage combustion at 180-200 and 530-600 degrees C (15-25 and 30-60 minutes respectively) gives coral and other shades of orange for plastics and metal paint pigmenting, etc..
