Abstract

The catalyst comprises material based on a hetero polycomplex contg. Ni, Rh and W, with, on a silica gel support, a hetero polycomplex of formula Na7H2ONiRhW11O3719H2O with a specific surface of 156 m2/g. The porosity is 0.61%. The catalyst is prepd. from 0.6 M soln. contg. W6+, Rh3+ and Ni2+, pH 4, and the 1 hour reaction with refluxing at 90 deg. C is followed by impregnation of the support, drying for 12 hours, and activation at 300 deg. C for 30 mins. in a weak current of air.
