Synthetic raffic is prepd. from polyethylene polymerised in suspn., in a single reactor at 50-150 deg.C pref. 75-85 deg.C at 0.1-2.0 MPa pref. 0.3-0.6 MPa. The catalyst is a titanium cpd. impregnated on a MgCl2 support. The density of polyethylene is set in the region of 0.94-0.95 g/ml. by copolymerising an alpha olefin pref. propylene.
