Abstract
Process comprises treatment in a washing machine lined with abrasive stone, using 300 g/l of NaOH soln.. This is followed by neutralising, with solution containing 11g of active chlorine and by washing with sodium pyrosulphite, or with 150 g/l of K2Cr2O7 followed by acidification with sulphuric and oxalic acids. The technique improves aesthetic appearance and efficiency.***
