Abstract

The invention consists of a face-milling cutter with adjustable teeth, equipped with hard or extra-hard splintering pieces and with continuous sharpening.The milling cutter is made up of a ring-shaped frame on which adjustable and orientable taper teeth are placed on a preset circumference. The cutter is equipped with adjustable taper pieces, each of them placed in interlinked radial bearings situated at equal or variable distances from the body of the cutter, and fixed by dog screws; each taper piece is equipped with a taper bore in which, by means of taper sleeves, a splintering tooth is mounted which can be oriented around its axis due to a geared joining between the taper sleeve and another sleeve mounted on the tooth.<IMAGE>
