Abstract

The invention refers to an installation that measures the composite error of current transformers. The installation uses a standard shunt to measure the primary testing current, another coaxial shunt with a transfer coefficient that doesn't depend on the conversion ratio of the tested current transformer, to measure the secondary current of the testing current transformer. A synchronous short-circuit is used to control the aperiodic component of the primary current.
