Pigmentul verde folosit la prepararea emailurilor se obtine prin calcinarea unui amestec constituit din dioxid de titan ales dintre anatas sau rutil, oxid de nichel, oxid de cobalt, oxid de zinc, trioxid de antimoniu, cu sau fara adaos de clorura de sodiu la temperatura de 800...1050 degree C, dupa care masa de pigment obtinut se raceste brusc într-o solutie amoniacala, se macina pe cale umeda, se spala, se usuca, se dezagrega si se omogenizeaza.
