Abstract
Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a unor derivati de flavan cu formula generala I: (vezi formula) în care R1 reprezinta un radical alchil inferior, halogen, cian, hidrogen, R2 reprezinta un halogen, sau hidrogen, R3 reprezinta hidrogen, un radical alchil inferior, metoxi, halogen, trifluormetil, alchil aminmo inferior amino, cian, R4 reprezinta hidrogen, halogen, alchil amino inferior, cu conditia ca atinci cînd R3 si R4 reprezinta ambii atomi de hidrogen, unul din substituentii R1 sau R2 reprezinta altceva decît hidrogen sau alchil inferior si cu conditia ca cel putin unul din substituentii R1, R2, R3, R4 sa reprezinte hidrogen, consta în aceea cî un compus cu formula generala II: (vezi formula) în care R1, R2, R3, R4 au semnificatia de mai sus, se reduce cu borohidrura de metal alcalin, în prezenta unui solvent ales dintre alcanoili inferiori si tetrahidrofuran, apoi se ciclizeaza în prezenta de acid acetic, acid sulfuric concentrat sau acid p-toluensulfonic.The invention relates to a process for the preparation of flavan derivatives of the general formula (I): (wherein R 1 represents a lower alkyl, halogen, cyano, hydrogen, R 2 represents a halogen or hydrogen, R 3 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkoxy, cyano, R 4 represents hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, provided that when R 3 and R 4 represent both hydrogen atoms, one of the substituents R 1 or R 2 represents only one hydrogen or lower alkyl and provided that at least one of the substituents R 1, R 2, R 3, R 4 represents hydrogen, it consists of a compound of the general formula II wherein R 1, R 2, R 3, R 4 have the meaning is reduced with the alkali metal borohydride in the presence of a solvent selected from lower alkanoyl and tetrahydrofuran, then cyclized in the presence of acetic acid, concentrated sulfuric acid or p-toluenesulfonic acid.
