Abstract
Prezenta inventie se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a 2,6-ditertbutil-4-metilfenolului. Produsul 2,6-diterbutil-4-metilfenolului. Produsul 2,6-ditertbutil-4-metilfenolul are o larga întrebuintare ca antioxidant al produselor petroliere, uleiurilor, cauciucurilor, maselor plastice si a altor materiale polimere. Este întrebuintat, de asemenea, ti în industria alimentara pentru stabilizarea grasimilor animale, a materialelor polimere, care se folosesc în medicina si care vin în contact cu produsele alimentare (foliile de polietilena, cauciucul pentru tetine etc.); se foloseste la scara larga în medicina ca preparat medicamentos în tratamentul unor boli canceroase. în afara de acestea se foloseste, de asemenea, la stabilizarea furajelor pentru vite. Se cunosc un numar de procedee de obtinere a 2,6-ditertbutil-4-metilfenolului. Astfel, este cunoscut procedeul cu folosirea p-crezolului ca materie prima. Acesta din urma este alchilat cu olefine în prezenta a diversi catalizatori acizi, depreferinta acid sulfuric. însa, p-crezolul este o materie prima scimpa. Pe langa acesta, p-crezolul contine totdeauna alti izomeri, din care cauza la alchilare se obtine un amestec complex de alchilfenoli greu de separat.
