Abstract
Cyclohexane derivs. of formula (I) are new. In (I) R=1-4C alkyl opt. substd. by halo; R1=H or 1-4C alkyl; R2=H, 1-4C alkyl or RaOCO; or R1+R2=3-6C alkylene; R9=1-4C alkyl; R3=R6=H or 1-4C alkyl, R7 and R8=H, halo, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, OCF3, CN, NO2, 1-4C haloalkyl, RbS(O)n, NRcRd, ReCO or SO2NRcRd; Rb=1-4C alkyl (opt. substd. by halo or CN); phenyl or benzyl; Rc and Rd=H or 1-4C alkyl; Re=1-4C alkyl or 1-4C alkoxy; provided that R7 is not at the 6-position. Also claimed are herbicidal compsns. contg. a herbicidal 2-(2-(1-4C (halo)alkyl)-benzoyl)-1,3-cyclohexane dione (I') (esp. a cpd. (I)) and an inert carrier.
