Способ модифицирования поверхности титана путем электролитического формирования слоя нитрида титана, отличающийся тем, что слой формируют на титане и его сплавах методом анодной поляризации при постоянном токе в электролитах на основе полярных органических растворителей, в том числе, в присутствии воды (0-15%) и 0,1-0,3 масс.% азотсодержащих солей, в том числе, солей аммония в качестве электролитической добавки, при этом электролиз проводят при комнатной температуре электролита.
