Изобретение имеет следующие отличительные признаки: а) модифицированная каталитическая система, состоящая из обычного катализатора Co/Mn/Br и добавок никеля, хрома, циркония или церия, взятых в отдельности или в смеси друг с другом, что приводит к селективному ускорению реакции окисления; в) предварительное нагревание и особый метод подачи реакционной смеси, что обеспечивает равномерную скорость окисления во всем реакционном объеме; с) умеренные температуры и относительно небольшое время реакции.
