Abstract

A lamp 10 for vehicles which comprises a reflector which accommodates the light source and has a plurality of reflector portions which concentrate the light incident upon them, the focal points of the reflective surfaces being congruent, and some of the reflective portions being graduated in the manner of Fresnel optics 16 and being connected on either side of the reflective surface accommodating the light source 14 and merging into further outer reflective portions 18 which are tilted inwards. The central portion of a lens plate (30, fig 5) may be configured with vertically extending light converging cylindrical lenses (32, fig 5).
