Abstract

Each window leaf has a rectangular inner frame which is mounted in a rectangular outer frame and can be swung between open and closed positions via a vertical hinge axis extending along one vertical side of the leaf. The inner and outer frames share a common vertical frame section along the other vertical side of the leaf and this is releasably attached to the two horizontal sections of the outer frame and permanently attached to the two horizontal sections of the inner frame. The leaves can be slid into an end position where the inner frames can be swung open so that the window is open over the entire width of the balcony.
