Abstract

The disclosure concerns an electric machine (4) comprising a rotor shaft (20), a rotor body (24) arranged on the rotor shaft (20), a bearing (30), a housing (28), and a grounding ring (32). The bearing (30) is arranged on the rotor shaft (20) and the rotor shaft (20) is journaled in relation to the housing (28) via the bearing (30). The grounding ring (32) is fixed in relation to the housing (28) and arranged around the rotor shaft (20) in an axial position along the rotational axis (22) between the bearing (30) and the rotor body (24). A lubricant barrier member (36) is arranged in an axial position along the rotational axis (22) between the bearing (30) and the grounding ring (32). The lubricant barrier member (36) has an annular shape and a radial extension in relation to the rotational axis (22).
