Abstract

A multi-cavity forming mould system for dry-forming three-dimensional cellulose products from an air-formed cellulose blank structure. The forming mould system comprises a forming mould having first and second mould parts arranged to form the products. A blank transporting unit is configured to feed the cellulose blank structure onto a blank support structure arranged between the first and second mould parts before forming. The first and second forming elements apply a forming pressure during the product forming operation onto pre-determined sections of the cellulose blank structure, such that the pre-determined sections are formed into the cellulose products. One or more openings are pre-cut in the cellulose blank structure during the product forming operation. The blank support structure comprises a plurality of sectioned openings configured for allowing passage of the first forming elements and/or the corresponding second forming elements during the product forming operation.
