Abstract

The circuit arrangement is used for linearising the output signals of sensors, the characteristic of which is nonlinear. A first function generator (1) generates a periodic voltage curve which linearly changes as a function of time in each period. A second function generator (2) generates a periodic voltage curve which has a variation which duplicates the shape of the sensor characteristic in each period as a function of time. The periods of the two function generators are of equal magnitude. A comparator (4) receives the output signal (UM) of the sensor at one input and the output voltage (U2) of the second function generator (2) at the other input. In each period, there is a time at which the output voltage of the second function generator is equal to the output signal of the sensor. When this equality is determined, the comparator (4) outputs an output signal which triggers the transmission of the instantaneous value of the output voltage of the first function generator (1), which is reached at the same time, to the output of the circuit arrangement. This instantaneous value is used as measurement value signal. <IMAGE>
