Abstract
To blank out noise pulses generated by activation and de-activation operations in a signal line to which direct current and alternating current can be applied simultaneously and which leads via an amplifier (V) to a loudspeaker (L), a circuit arrangement is proposed in which a relay (B) is provided which has contacts (b) inserted into the signal line. A switch (S) which initiates the switching of the relay contacts (b) and which has a delay component (R1, C1) connected downstream is disposed in the activation line of the relay (B). A pulse generator is connected to the output of the switch (S) which, when the switch (S) is opened and closed, transmits an adjustable-width square-wave pulse which is fed to a gate circuit (A, a) disposed between the amplifier (V) and the loudspeaker (L). The pulse generator has two parallel-connected branches leading to a monostable multivibrator, each branch containing a differentiator. In one of the branches, a memory circuit is connected upstream of the differentiator which transmits a voltage signal when the switch (S) is opened. Due to the circuit arrangement, the noise pulses in the signal line can be blanked out reliably even when activation and de-activation operations follow one another in rapid succession, for example in intercom systems. <IMAGE>
