Abstract

This coupling comprises a securing end-piece 3 provided internally with an abutment 7 for the pipe 2 and a frusto-conical ramp 10. An internal retaining sleeve 4 for the pipe 2 penetrates the end-piece 3 over a predetermined length, and a deformable cylindrical ring 5 is threaded on the pipe 2. One end of it co-operates with the ramp 10 and a tightening socket 6 screwed onto the end-piece 3 provided with a surface for pushing the ring 5 towards the ramp 10. According to the invention, means 15 are provided for the provisional positioning of the pipe 2 at a predetermined distance from the abutment and the thrust surface 18 is radial. <IMAGE>
