Abstract

The safety handle (12) of a fuze head (1) for hand grenades, which is suspended on the fuze head (1) so that it can pivot and be released, covers (in the safe position) a cocked firing pin and is locked by a safety pin. The safety pin is inserted through a hole (10) in the fuze head (1) and through a hole (14) in each of the side pieces (13) of the safety handle (12), and its free end is spread apart.
