Abstract

A combined shoulder support-cheek support for fire arms of the type, comprising a barrel (3-5) on which the shoulder support-cheek support (6) is mounted. The shoulder support is formed so that it can be optionally adapted to right handed marksmen or left handed marksmen and it comprises a box (13) which is mounted directly on the barrel (3) and which at the upper side and lower side respectively carries a support bar (20, 21). The support bars (20, 21) are interconnected at their rear ends by means of a hinge ribbon (19) which extends through the box, and at the support bar ends which can be fold out the support bars (20, 21) are interconnected by means of a shoulder support ribbon (18) which extends freely through the said box and which is of such length that either of the support bars (20, 21) can be fold out to a position substantially at right angle to the box (13) whereas the opposite support bar provides a stop for such folding out.
