Abstract

A warehouse installation includes pigeon-holes on both sides of a warehouse corridor. A platform (24) equipped with a turntable (26) is movable the length of the corridor on rails (23). A pallet (18) permits the transfer of a load of a pigeon-hole onto the turntable (26) of the platform (24) which includes parallel bands (25) of cylindrical rollers (27) permitting the transfer of loads onto other means of transport and vice versa.
