Abstract

Control unit for an electric vehicle, preferably for disabled people. The control unit contains a first and a second pair of inputs and a first and a second control output. At one of the inputs it receives a certain number of digital input signals as a function of the selected actuation of a transmission unit. It supplies analog output signals to its control outputs, which output signals form control signals which influence the drive and a device for changing the direction of travel. The said control signals can be varied as a function of the state of the inputs of the control unit. The value of one output signal constitutes a selected speed in the forward direction or reverse direction whilst the second output signal constitutes the selected direction of travel to the left or to the right.
