Abstract

In order to facilitate the apportioning of mustard, ketchup and similar masses from containers (10), which are equipped with a free hanging feed out tube (l5), and which is completed at its base by a feed out opening (17), a back-valve is deployed and located between the tube and the containers. The feed out tube's cross section area corresponds roughly to the container's discharge opening and the back-valve retains a spherical body (19). A device (21, 24) is deployed to hinder the body of the valve from sinking downwards in to the tube. The distance between the body of the valve and the feed out tube's lower end is sufficient for the tube to be gripped and squeezed by the hand without mechanical interference on the body of the valve.
