Abstract

The load-holding or overcentre valve for hydraulic systems comprises a valve housing (30) which contains a valve chamber (75) and a control chamber (54). The valve chamber (75) has a first (76) and a second connection opening (35), between which a spring-loaded non-return valve (37, 38) and a spring-loaded pressure relief valve (41, 42, 43) are arranged. The control chamber (54) is separated from the valve chamber (75) by a partition wall (47) and supplied with control pressure via a third connection opening (50). This pressure acts via a control piston guided displaceably in the control chamber (54) and via a tappet pin (58) guided freely displaceably in a bore (57) in the partition wall (47) on the pressure relief valve (41, 42, 43). On the valve chamber (75) side, the tappet pin (58) has a head (59) which can be pressed into sealing contact with the partition wall (47). <IMAGE>
