Abstract

Fixture for fastening work pieces comprising a base plate (1) whose work surface (2) features holes (3) evenly spaced across the surface (2) in which attachment devices, like clamps (4) working on the same plane as the work surface (2), are arranged at desired points to allow the work piece (6) to be fastened on the base plate (1), whereby the attachments include one or more movable support pieces (5) against which the work piece (6) is fastened with the help of the clamps (4). At least one support (5) is a straightedge with a rectangular cross section. One end of the straightedge contains a fixed tension peg (10) while the other end, has a tension peg (12) that can move lengthwise along straightedge (5). The tension pegs (10, 12) are driven down into corresponding holes (11, 13) in the base plate's (1) work surface (2).<IMAGE>
