Abstract
A coupling device for automatic dosing and control, with a switching mode of operation and an analogue mode of operation, in particular for an ultrasonic therapy appliance. The effect of ultrasonic therapy depends, to a large extent, on the dose received by the patient. That which is characteristic of the invention is that a signal which is proportional to the dose received by the patient is generated and processed and that this signal controls the operation of an ultrasonic generator 1 which feeds the treatment head. The duration of the treatment is determined in dependence on the dose received by the patient such that the dose in this way always comes to be equal to the predetermined value. The coupling device can be actualized as two different types: analogue mode of operation and switching mode of operation. <IMAGE>
