Abstract

An end of an electrical box (4) provided with an opening, is insertable in a hole in a plaster plate (2) so that from the exterior of the wall access is possible to the inside of the box. A ring-shaped part (10) is used with a number of identical, separate flaps (12,13), certain of which, after the ring has been applied to the area of the plate hole, at least partly locate against one of the two opposite sides (15,16) of the plate. This holds the ring (10) in position in connecting with the plate hole. Other flaps are pliantly pressed down when the box is inserted in the hole, and automatically snap-engage a projection (8) on the exterior of the box. This holds the box firmly in relation to the ring, and thus to the plate. (Provisional Basic advised week 85/05)
