Abstract
The device comprises a cylindrical tank 2 closed by a lid 4 and a bottom 3, pipe coils with fins 7 to 14 for the water to pass through, a discharge pipe 16 and an intake pipe 17 for the refrigerant KM. Each pipe coil 7 to 14 comprises its respective inlet pipe 7' to 14' and outlet pipe 7'' to 14'', which pipes open out respectively into a common supply channel 5 and into a common discharge channel 6. The supply channel 5 and a discharge channel 6 are arranged outside the tank 2 and at a certain distance from the bottom 3 and from the lid 4 of the latter. The inlet tubes 7' to 14' and the outlet tubes 7'' to 14'' are joined respectively and in the same manner in at least two groups, each composed of one or more inlet tubes 7' to 14' and outlet tubes 7'' to 14'' which open out respectively into supply channels 5a, 5b and discharge channels 6a, 6b which are separated from one another. The device conserves a condenser for the refrigerant in a heat pump, alternatively as an evaporator. <IMAGE>
