Abstract

The accessory is for a pair of vehicle roof racks (1,2), and comprises four arms (3-6) with locking devices (7) disposed in pairs on the racks. Each arm swings in a horizontal plane about a vertical axis (9). - Coupling devices (10,11) are provided, by which the arms on a rack can be secured parallel to it and together to form an upper load support (3,10,4,5,11,6). The arms can be swung through 90 deg. and coupled to those on the other rack to form sides for a load cage. (Dwg.No.1)
