Abstract

An installation ceiling for rooms having high requirements of a clean environment comprises a plurality of parallel supporting beams (10) spaced from each other, and a plurality of ceiling elements (13-15) which are perpendicular to the supporting beams, are positioned adjacent each other between the supporting beams and have two opposite edges resting on the supporting beams. Flexible strips (26, 30) are provided in the spaces between the ceiling elements (13-15) and along the longitudinal sides of each supporting beam (10) above the spaces between the edges of the ceiling elements (13-15) and the supporting beam (10). The flexible strips (26, 30) are attached to the ceiling elements and the supporting beams, respectively, and provide securing of the ceiling elements as well as sealing along the edges of the elements. This feature makes it easy to lift the ceiling elements, so that repair and service works are facilitated.
