Abstract

A bunk structure comprises a bunk (1) which, at opposite ends, has seat means (2, 2') for receiving and releasably connecting to the bunk two substantially vertical posts (3, 3') which, together with the bunk, define a load compartment. The bunk consists of a metal box section (1) manufactured by cold drawing. Each seat means (2, 2') consists of a metal body shaped in a mould and thus made in one piece. The two moulded bodies serving as seat means are permanently connected to the box section (1), preferably by welding (at 19).
