Abstract

In a valve for pneumatic media, an electromagnet (2), whose armature (6) cooperates with a valve closure member (7), is secured on a valve housing (1) having media ports (A, P), a first valve seat (8) associated with the closure member (7) and a second valve seat (9) associated with a second valve closure member (10). In order to compensate for alignment errors and due to the need to employ an economical production without fine tolerances, the second valve closure member (10), which is more remote from the electromagnet (2), consists of a valve disc (13) with guide rods (14a, 14b) extending coaxially on both sides, and is formed separately from the valve closure member (7), which in turn comprises at least one stem shaft (16) and a valve disc (15). The closure members (7, 10) which are arranged coaxially are urged into mutual abutment by pressure and/or spring force and provide simultaneous control of flow through the valve seats (8, 9) on actuation of the electromagnet (2). <IMAGE>
