Abstract

The equipment (10) includes a carriage with a holder (10) for a hole drilling machine (13) and a tool (30) to fit a distance plug in the hole. A cutter (36,37) cuts off the distance plug shaft at a selected level. The elongated, vertically oriented fitting tool is suspended on a frame (6) on the carriage for pivoting approximately a half turn around a horizontal axis. - Either the drilling machine holder or the fitting tool can be moved a distance plug borne by the fitting tool can be directed towards and driven into the drill hole in the base material. The tool with its plug fitment end has a plug shaft holder arranged to receive a distance plug shaft inserted from without. The plug end, cut off at a selected level, defines a required point in a surface for the subsequent introduction on to the base material of a levelling mass.
