Abstract

Each of the connectors (5, 6) is articulatedly fastened to both the support frame (3) and the skis (2), forming a four-link mechanism incorporating a rear and a front link arm and a support frame link arm and a ski link arm. Connected to the support frame is a draw bar (7) for connection to a towing vehicle and a ski stay (9) is articulatedly connected to each ski point. Each side connectors, skis and support frame form a four-link mechanism where A + B = C (max) + D in the lowered position and A is greater than C (min) in the raised position. A is the distance between the two links on either the support frame link arm or the ski link arm, C is the distance between the two remaining links with one of these two links movable along the support frame or skis between C (min) and C (max), B is the distance between the links on the rear link arm (6) and D is the distance between the links on the front link arm (5).
