Abstract

A radially expanding tensioner unit (1) couples together pipe parts, bends, crosses of varying configuration and other system components. - It comprises two semi-cylindrical halves (8,9), which expand when a screw is inserted and tightened. This causes the two end parts of the tensioner unit to grip into the inner covers in the pipe parts and the system components.
