Abstract

Drive belt assembled from plates provided with pairs of rods on both sides, each pair of rods containing holes drilled through them in the cross-machine direction. Bolts are passed through these holes in order to hold pairs of rods in adjacent plates together in a chain construction containing two or more links per plate. - Preferably the plates are made from plastic or rubber, e.g. polyurethane rubber.
