Abstract

An inlay (1) for an absorbent hygiene article such as nappies or incontinence pads has at least two fasteners (2, 3) in the side of the inlay that faces away from the person wearing it. The fasteners are positioned on either side of the inlay length symmetry axis (A-A) at a distance from each inlay length edge. Two slots (4, 5) in the inlay are also provided on either side of this symmetry axis, each having a length direction section that finishes at both ends in width direction sections, relative to the symmetry axis. Each fastener is located in a region demarcated by a slot on the same side of the symmetry axis as the fastener, and by an imaginary line passing through the ends of the slot width sections.
