Abstract

The web is formed by a number of forming rolls with overlapping forming blades that work the fibres into a web, the top surface of the web being levelled off by the last roll. A process for continuously forming a fibrous web used to make fibreboard by a dry method, involves adding the fibre material from a dispensing device (1) onto the surface of a moving conveyor belt (21) and then removing the same material from the belt. The web is formed by a number of rotating forming rolls (2) with overlapping forming blades that work the fibres into a web, the top surface of the web being defined by the last roll. Independent claims are included for: (a) a process apparatus; and (b) the forming rolls, used to implement the above process.
