Abstract

The fitting comprises two identical parts (1) and two fasteners (2), each part including an open cable grip profile (3) and a groove (10) for receiving the edge of a metal plate. The two parts are joined together by securing a fastener in one part into the other part. Each part has open guide surfaces (11, 12) that allow the tightness of the grip profiles around the cable to be altered in the assembled fitting. The fasteners are used to fix the cable into position in between the two parts and relative to the metal plate.
