* 15

The purpose of the invention is to measure the accuracy of the measurement. * ° '50 </ p>

The goal is achieved by the fact that, in the complex reflectance meter, containing a microwave generator, to the output of which is connected the main path of the first directional coupler of the incident wave, the second directional coupler of the reflected </ p>

The drawing shows the function. The onal scheme of the proposed complex reflection coefficient meter. '</ p>

The meter contains a microwave generator </ p>

1, first, second, third, fourth, </ p>

1 160331 </ p>

The fifth and sixth directional couplers 2-7, equalizing the waveguide 8, amplitude modulator 9, low-frequency generator 10, equivalent to 11 amplitude modulator, 5- phase power divider 12, valve 13, test load 14, first, second and third detectors 15-17, first } </ sub> second and third amplifiers 18-20, subtraction blocks 21 and 22, electron-beam indicator 23, </ p>

In the measurement mode, the complex reflection coefficient meter works as follows. </ p>

* 15 </ p>

The microwave generator 1 generates a microwave signal. Part of the energy is diverted into the channel of the incident wave through the first directional coupler 2, the other part of the energy propagates through the valve 13 to the second directional coupler 3, where it splits into two parts. One part, due to the final directivity of the second directional coupler 3, seeps into the channel of the reflected wave. The other part passes to the investigated load 14 and, having reflected from it, falls again on the first directional coupler 2, where part of the energy is branched into the channel of the reflected wave. The remaining up to 30 For the energy of the reflected wave is absorbed by the valve 13. In the channel of the incident wave, the microwave signal is sent to the amplitude modulator 9. The amplitude modulator modulates in amplitude this 35 signal with a low frequency. Next, the UHF signal goes to the sixth directional coupler 7. A part of this signal is branched to the third detector 17, the other part goes to the common-mode power divider 12. The common-mode power divider 12 divides this signal equally between its two outputs. From the first output of the in-phase power divider 12, the microwave signal is fed through a three-decimal third directional coupler A to the first detector 15, and the second output to the first input of the three-decimal fourth directional coupler 5, 50 from the output of which the incident wave signal arrives at the second detector 16. </ p>

There are two signals in the reflected wave channel: a signal that leaks because of the finite directivity of the second 55 of the directional coupler 3, and the useful signal of the reflected wave. Both of them pass the equivalent of 11 amplitude modulators and fall on the three-decimal fifth directional coupler 6, which forks these signals equally between its two outputs. From the first output, signals go to the second input of the three-decimal third directional coupler 4 and further to the first detector 15; From the second output, the microwave signals arrive at the second input of the fourth directional coupler 5 and further to the second detector 16. Thus, the sum signals at the inputs of the three detectors 15-17 are </ p>

As can be seen from the obtained formulas (14) and (15), the voltages applied to the indicator 23 do not contain a component, which is formed due to leakage of the reflected wave through the coupler 2 into the channel of the incident wave. This suggests that in the proposed meter, the measurement error due to the non-directional ™ of the couplers is eliminated, thus achieving the goal. </ P>
