During the cutting of a sample of the composite with a cutter, the change in the intensity of the photon flux during the destruction process is recorded. The degree of accumulation of microdefects is determined by the intensity of the mechanoluminescence, taking into account the processability of the sample. 1 il.

Description

The invention relates to the control of the workability of materials and can be used to study the mechanics of the destruction of polymer compositions in the process of machining.

The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy in evaluating the workability of composites by eliminating errors associated with the heterogeneity of the material structure.

The drawing shows a device for evaluating the workability of a material.

При помощи микрометрического винта 14 осуществл ют подачу образца 15 композита в зону резани .The device comprises a base 1 and a support 2, attached to the table 3 by fastening elements 4. In the niche of the support 3 a piezoelectric sensor 5 is mounted, connected to the recorder circuit 6 of single pulses. On the flywheel 7, the cutter 8 is fixed. In the light-protective casing 9, a window is made for the photomultiplier 10, which is included in the circuit of the single-pulse recorder 11. The device is turned on using an electric synchronizer 12. Plotter 13 is used to record signals from recorders. Using a micrometer screw 14, sample 15 of the composite is fed into the cutting zone.

The method is carried out as follows.

A flywheel 7 with a cutter 8 is rotated. Using a micrometer screw 14, a predetermined depth of cut is set. A single straight cut is made, during which changes in the intensity of the photon flux are recorded during the destruction of the material being processed. At the same time, instantaneous changes of the main component of the cutting force are recorded with the aid of recorders 6 and 11 single pulses. The synchronization of their inclusion is carried out using the synchronizer 12, which is activated at the time of insertion of the cutter 8 into the cutting zone. The results obtained with the help of the plotter 13 in the form of two coaxial graphs of the mechanoluminescence and
