The invention relates to devices for storing information, namely, cassettes. A cassette is known comprising a casing in which the cores are mounted in rolls of a ClJ magnetic tape. In a known cassette, in the process of recording and reproducing and in the process of rewinding a magnetic tape, the latter is rolled up from one core and wound onto another. The disadvantage of such a cassette is that it is designed for tape recorders that use a tape of the same width.
