Abstract

A parking time display device is installed in the vehicle to show the vehicle's parking time. The device consists of sensors to detect vehicle stops or parking, a timer to track the time, and a display screen positioned on a part of the vehicle so it is visible to everyone from the outside.

Claims (4)

1. The vehicle's parking time display device consists of a first type device (11) which responds to the immobility state of the vehicle, a second type device (12,13) which responds to the first type device to provide a signal of the elapsed time, and a display device (5) which operates with the aforementioned signal of the elapsed time to display the elapsed time, making a characteristic by which the display device is displayed on the vehicle's number plate so that it is visible from outside the vehicle when assembled. 2. The device under claim 1 consists of a sensing device (11) to detect the stationary state of the vehicle, a counting device (12) to count the time elapsed while the vehicle is parked, and a counting control device (13) to activate the counting device in response to a signal from the aforementioned sensing device (11) and to enable the display device (5) to display the time elapsed while the vehicle is parked counted by the counting device (12). 3. Equipment as specified in claim 1 or 2, where such display equipment is located in the rear of the vehicle. 4. The device under any of the preceding claims has a light (6) to indicate that the device is in operation.
