DC60 (27/07/52) ผลิตโปรตีนพิษแบคทีเรียต่างๆ เช่น โปรตีนพิษชิก้าอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยใช้เซลล์พืช ทำ การทรานสฟอร์เมชันเซลล์พืชโดยใช้ดีเอ็นเอที่สร้างขึ้นซึ่งมีดีเอ็นเอที่ประมวลรหัสโปรตีนลูกผสมที่มี โปรตีนพิษแบคทีเรีย เช่น โปรตีนพิษชิก้าเรียงต่อกันโดยมีเปบไทด์ที่มีลักษณะจำเพาะ (A) และ (B) ต่อ ไปนี้เป็นตัวกลาง แล้วให้เซลล์พืชผลิตโปรตีนพิษแบคทีเรียที่ระบุข้างต้น (A) จำนวนกรดอะมิโน 12-30 ตัว; (B) อัตราส่วนของปริมาณของโปรลีนที่ผสมอยู่ คือ 20-35%
