The structure of the translucent glazing panel consists of two identical translucent glass panels and an opaque layer or striped image arranged in a circular or hexagonal grid pattern, printed or laminated directly onto the inner surface of the outward-facing sides of the two glass panels using traditional printing methods. A white layer and a black or gray oil-based ink layer are then printed or laminated onto the colored layer or striped layer, respectively, in the same manner as the lamination process described above. The panels are then glued to another translucent glass panel, with the inward-facing side facing outwards, with the laminated layers forming a single continuous surface. The resulting panel allows light to pass through the unglazed gaps between the two panels into the shade, enabling the outdoor image to be visible from indoors. It also helps to protect against heat, while allowing light and transparency.

Claims

1. A decorative glass panel is composed of: a) a first translucent glass sheet; b) a first opaque coating consisting of interconnected circular or hexagonal strips of images in a grid pattern printed or coated onto one side of the first translucent glass sheet, with uncoated gaps between the opaque images; c) a second white coating and a third black or gray oil-based coating, similar in design to the first coating, printed or coated over the first coating; and d) a second translucent glass sheet bonded to the third coating.

2. Decorative glass panels under claim 1, with the materials used to make the opaque images and the white and black or gray oil inks composed of 15 to 70% terracotta pigment by weight and 30 to 85% glass powder by weight, where the percentage by weight depends on the total weight of the mixture, and the weight of the terracotta pigment shall not exceed 30% and the weight of the glass powder shall not be less than 30%.

3. Decorative glass panels under claim 1 or 2, where an opaque image is positioned between the first and second translucent glass panels, printed or laminated by printing the image onto one surface of the glass panel, with the thickness of each layer being between 0.04 mm and 0.18 mm.

4. Decorative glass panels under claim 1 or 2, whereby the total area of the unglazed split portion shall be between 9/1 and 5/5.
